"I am a photographer whose artistic philosophy is to present 'stories illuminated'. I endeavor to create images which tell a story.The over arching theme of the stories are to amplify practices which evoke compassionate understanding of nature and to show the Outer Banks that is seldom seen. My formal training as a coastal scientist and long time resident of the Outer Banks allows me to see my home, your get away, uniquely. Indeed, there will be fanciful stories intended to allow exploration of the inconceivable vastness of this wonderful barrier island, however, they are all founded in the basic truth of life on a fragile island.
